We are united by our love for Jesus and our desire to serve Him and make Him known in our community!

Established in 1901, First Baptist has been a dynamic part of Lethbridge for over 100 years! We love our Lord! We love our city! We love being His people in our community and around the world.

Opportunities to Worship ...

We invite you to worship Sundays at 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. (summers @ 10 a.m.). Our services feature:

	· The best contemporary and traditional music,
	· Readings from the Bible,
	· Opportunities for prayer and reflection,
	· Biblical preaching.

Coffee and fellowship times follow the services.

You have opportunities to be involved! We invite you to share in our choir, handbell choir, and worship teams which practice, seasonally, throughout the year!

We do celebrate our faith through special contemporary services and traditional services from time to time, too. Please check with the church office.

Opportunities to Serve …

We value living our faith! There are opportunities for you to be active in the church: in a fellowship group, Bible study, helping “behind the scenes,” making coffee, maintaining the facilities, singing in the choir, teaching, encouraging, etc., etc.

There are opportunities for you to serve in the community! We support local organizations including our Food Banks, Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity and others.

People from First B are active in a variety of community organizations and ministries from ministry at seniors’ lodges to working with community organizations! We encourage everyone to “live for Jesus,” as an ambassador of Christ, wherever they are.

Opportunities to Grow…

For CHILDREN we have awesome opportunities:

	· Nursery (during both 9:30 and 11:00 services)
	· Sunday School classes (9:30-10:30 a.m., Sundays)
	· Summer Vacation Bible School

For YOUTH we have youth groups (middle and senior high) which meet regularly for social, service, learning, and worship activities … and participate in exciting summer mission trips!

We also have Sunday morning classes (9:30-10:30 a.m.) and midweek groups. Our youth programme encourage youth to learn about Jesus, grow in faith, and build friendships in a safe, fun, environment.

For COLLEGE & CAREER we have Bible studies, social activities, and opportunities in leadership and worship.

For ADULTS we value small groups. We have Sunday morning classes (9:30-10:30 or 11:00-12:00, Sundays), Midweek Bible Study and Prayer groups (contact the church office), seminars, Mission Groups, and a variety of fellowship opportunities! We encourage everyone to be part of a small group. Contact one of the pastors.

For SENIORS we have Adult drop-in and outreach, Bible Studies, fellowship times (Primetimers), Mission Groups, and social activities (Adult Fellowship).

Opportunities to Give…

Of course our church is blessed by the faithful support of those who attend! Offering envelopes are available in the entrance or from the office. Direct withdrawal is also an option (contact the office).

First Baptist Church is affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada and Canadian Baptist Ministries. Cooperatively we support Mill Creek Baptist Camp (Pincher Creek), Carey Theological College, relief & development programmes, and missionaries in over fifteen countries.
